Khurshid Iqbal Andrabi appointed as Vice Chancellor of Kashmir University

Srinagar, Oct 17 (IBNS): Jammu and Kashmir Governor N.N. Vohra, who is also the Chancellor of the University of Kashmir, has appointed Dr. Khurshid Iqbal Andrabi as the Vice Chancellor of the university for a period of three years.

Andrabi is a well known Researcher in the area of Bio Informatics.

After obtaining his M.Sc. degree in Biochemistry from the Kashmir University, he obtained his Ph.D from Post Graduate Institute
of Medical Education and Research, Chandigarh.

He has also worked as Post doctoral fellow at Tuft's Medical School, Boston, USA, as well as the Department of Medicine, Harvard Medical School, USA.

He has served as the Associate Professor in the Department of Bio-Chemistry and as Professor and Chairman, Department of Bio-Technology, University of Kashmir.
