Kejriwal summoned by Delhi court for ‘thulla’ remark

New Delhi, May 7 (IBNS): Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal was summoned by a Delhi court on Saturday for allegedly using the derogatory word “thulla” to describe policemen.

Two Delhi Police constables had earlier lodged complaints of criminal defamation against the Delhi Chief Minister for his alleged remarks against policemen.

The CM had used the term during an interview with a television channel.

The court issued summons after hearing a defamation complaint filed against  the AAP supremo by constable Ajay Kumar Taneja of Lajpat Nagar police station.

Kejriwal has been directed to appear before the court on July 14.
