Kashmir encounter: Two militants killed

Baramulla, Nov 9 (IBNS): Two suspected militants, who are believed to be foreigners, were killed in an encounter with security forces in North Kashmirs Rafiabad area on Wednesday.

According to reports, security forces launched a cordon and search operation in Drusu village after specific inputs about the presence of militants in the area.

As soon as they approached towards the house, the hiding militants there, opened fire with automatic weapons on counter insurgency party triggering an encounter.

“Brief encounter took place and two militants were killed both are foreigners and believed to be members of Lashker I Toiba” senior
police official said.
