Karnataka: School teacher suspended for campaigning for BJP on social media

Kalaburagi, Mar 30 (UNI) A government primary school head master was suspended on Saturday for posting and Election campaigning on Social media.

According to Kalaburagi Deputy Director of Public instruction (DDPI) office release , Lakshman Hanumanth Jogour, a Primary school head master working at Devalgangapur village of Afzalpur taluk was suspended on immediate effect for posting election campaign mater in Social media like WhatsApp and Facebook.

He was also uploading Prime Minister Narendra Modi photos on the Facebook.

In the order the district DDPI Shantgowda Patil said that the head master violated the 3.5 and 16 chapters of Government Employees Rule 1966 by posting such social media messages when Election Code of Conduct was in place.
