Kapil Dev meets PM Modi

New Delhi, May 6 (IBNS): Indian iconic cricketer Kapil Dev called on the Prime Minister Narendra Modi, on Wednesday.

" He presented a cheque of Rs 51 lakhs for the Prime Minister's National Relief Fund on the behalf of Khushii to the Prime Minister," the Prime Minister'a Office said in a statement.

Dev is also Chairperson of Khushii (Kinship for Humanitarian Social and Holistic Intervention in India).

India had won the World Cup under his leadership in 1983.
