Kannur, Apr 29 (UNI): Kannur district collector Mir Muhammed Ali on Monday submitted a report to state's chief electoral officer (CEO) on the alleged bogus voting in some polling booths in this district during the April 23 polls.

The prima facie report was submitted to CEO Teeka Ram Meena after examining the video footages of the respective polling booths.

Further action would be taken according to the directions from the CEO, a release from district collector said.

The CEO had sought a report from the Kannur and Kasaragod District Collectors on the media disclosure of video footage in a booth that showed some people casting bogus votes.
