Judith D'Souza returns to Kolkata, reunites with her family

Kolkata, July 24 (IBNS): The Indian national Judith D'Souza, who was kidnapped by suspected militants in June, returned to Kolkata on Sunday.

Amid tight security, she returned to Kolkata from Delhi.

She reunited with her family several days after she was abducted in Kabul.

She returned to India from Kabul on Saturday and met Prime Minister Narendra Modi , External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj and other top Indian officials in New Delhi.

Judith D'Souza was abducted on June 9 by suspected militants in Kabul. She works for the Agha Khan Foundation.

Informing about the rescue of the girl, External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj on Saturday tweeted: "I am happy to inform you that Judith D'souza has been rescued. @jeromedsouza."
