JU: Students protest before Partha Chatterjee
Partha Chatterjee and the Vice-Chancellor of JU Abhijit Chakraborty went to Institute of Cultivation of Science auditorium in JU campus to attend a seminar on "Students' Politics", organized by West Bengal College and University Professors' Association (WBCUPA).
As the cars of Abhijit Chakraborty and Partha Chatterjee were entering into the university campus, students were seen shouting 'go back' slogan and even they showed them black flags.
Chakraborty refused to comment on the issue.
Partha Chatterjee told that once he was also involved in students' politics but never showed black flag to anyone.
"Nobody can stop me by these protests", he added.
