J&K: Three policemen injured in Sopore grenade attack

Srinagar, Mar 21 (IBNS): Three policemen were injured in a grenade attack in Sopore district of Jammu and Kashmir on Thursday, reports said.

The attackers reportedly lobbed a grenade at the security personnel in the Main Chowk of Sopore.

The area has been cordoned off and a search operations has begun to catch the attackers.

Earlier this month, two people were killed and 32 injured in a grenade blast at Jammu bus stand.

To dodge police, the prime accused in the case, a school student, had transported the explosive in a biryani-filled lunch box.
