JK Police man martyred in militant attack in Srinagar
Srinagar/UNI: Militants shot dead a police constable in Batmaloo area of Srinagar on Sunday evening, police said.
They said, militants shot at and critically injured Constable Tawseef Ahmad at SD colony in Batamaloo area of Srinagar.
Tawseef was taken to SMHS hospital where doctors declared him dead, they said.
Meanwhile, a police spokesman said a case has been registered under relevant sections of law.
"Investigation is in progress and officers continue to work to establish the circumstances which lead to this terror crime," he said
