Srinagar/IBNS: A shopkeeper in Kashmir's Shopian district was shot at on Monday evening, in the fourth terrorist attack in the Valley in the last 24 hours.

Bal Krishan, a Kashmiri Pandit, received bullet injuries on his hand and leg.

He was taken to an Army hospital in Srinagar and his condition is reportedly stable.

Earlier in the afternoon, a Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) jawan was killed and another was wounded in a militant attack in Srinagar's city centre, officials said.

They said militants fired at CRPF personnel in Maisuama area.

"Two CRPF men were injured in firing and they were shifted to the hospital for treatment. One of the injured CRPF men succumbed to his injuries," an official told UNI.

Soon after the shooting, joint forces launched a hunt to nab the attackers.

Earlier, two non-local labourers from Bihar were shot and injured in Kashmir's Pulwama district.
