Jharkhand: Main accused of triple murder case gets capital punishment, 3 others get lifer
Dhanbad, May 24 (UNI) A local court in this district awarded death punishment to the main accused of a triple murder case which had occurred on October 3, 2017 in Loharbarwa under Barwadda Police Station area of this district.
The court of additional district judge (16th) awarded the capital punishment to Bhairavnath Dasondhi and awarded life imprisonment to three others, including Rupa Devi and his father Rajendra Prasad and mother Gayatri Devi. The court has also imposed a fine of Rs 30,000 on each of them.
Bhairavnath was having an extra marital affair with his sister-in-law who was a widow. On October 3, 2017 the family had celebrated the birthday of his two year old son Abhay and post the celebrations as every one went off to sleep Bhairav first strangulated to death his wife Anupama Devi and later murdered his two children.
After executing the three murders he enacted the drama of his abduction and later also consumed poisonous substance in an attempt to commit suicide but was rushed to hospital where the doctors saved him and later he was arrested for the murder.
He confessed to the police that his lover Rupa had instigated him to kill his wife and children while his parents had also helped him in hatching the conspiracy after which all of them were arrested and forwarded to jail.
