Jaya to dominate in TN, Cong likely to lead in Kerala, Karnataka
According to CNN-IBN-CSDS-Lokniti post-poll survey, the ruling AIADMK-led by Tamil Nadu chief minister J Jayalalithaa, is likely to get 22-28 seats with 39 percent votes.
The main opposition in the state DMK is expected to manage 7-11 seats with 26 percent votes. While, the BJP alliance may get 4-6 seats with 16 percent votes, the Congress is projected to get 9 percent votes with no seats and the others may get 10 per cent votes.
The state of Andhra Pradesh, which is now Seemandhra region will witness the TDP-BJP alliance getting 11-15 seats with 43 percent vote share and the YSR Congress Party may also get 11-15 seats with 40 percent vote share.
The ruling Congress may get just 7 percent vote share and unlikely to get any seats due to the division of the state and carving out of Telangana. The others may get 10 percent vote share.
In the newly formed state of Telangana, the TRS is expected to get 8-12 seats with 37 percent vote share. The Congress is likely to get just 31 percent of the votes and may end up winning 3-5 seats. The BJP-TDP alliance is projected to get 21 percent vote share with 2-4 seats. The others may get 11 per cent vote share and no seats, the channel's post poll survey said.
In Karnataka, the Congress is expected to get 12-16 seats. The BJP is likely to get 10-14 seats. The third player in the state JDS may get 1-3 seats.
In the state of Kerala, the ruling Congress-led United Democratic Front (UDF) is expected to get 11-14 seats with 45 percent vote share. The opposition CPM-led Left Democratic Front (LDF) is projected to get 6-9 seats with 40 percent vote share.
The last phase of the nine phased election in India to constitute a new Lok Sabha concluded on Monday where the country witnessed highest ever voter turnout of 66.38 percent.
