Jaswantsinh Sumanbhai Bhabhor takes charge as MoS in the Union Tribal Affairs Ministry

New Delhi, Jul 11 (IBNS): Jaswantsinh Sumanbhai Bhabhor took over as new Minister of State in the Union Ministry of Tribal Affairs in New Delhi on Monday.

Soon after assuming his office, the minister said he will work for the overall development of the tribal community in the country, especially in areas such as construction of roads, schools and other necessary infrastructure in the tribal belts. The Minister said he will also work for the conservation of tribal arts and culture.

Jaswantsinh Sumanbhai Bhabhor is a sitting MP of Bhartiya Janta Party (BJP) from Dahod, Gujarat. Before getting elected to Lok Sabha, he was MLA till May 2014. He has been a member of different state level committees in Gujarat.
