Jammu: Manoj Sinha pays rich tributes to Guru Arjan Dev on his 415th Martyrdom Day

Jammu/IBNS: Lieutenant Governor, Manoj Sinha paid tributes to Guru Arjan Dev, the fifth Sikh Guru,  on the eve of his 415th Martyrdom Day and called upon the people to follow the great teachings and path shown by the great Guru, who sacrificed his life for protecting the rich traditions of humanism and pluralism.

In his message, Sinha said that Guru Ji’s unparalleled sacrifice is a perpetual source of  inspiration for all of us and for the coming generations.

“Guru Ji’s message of peace and non-violence  has become more relevant in this modern life and needs to be imbibed by one and all. His vision of  equality of all human beings continues to inspire and guide us”, he added.

The Lt Governor observed that the momentous compilation of Adi-Granth Sri Guru Granth Sahib by Guru  Arjan Dev, is an ocean of knowledge and wisdom, guiding humanity to create a society based on the cardinal principles of peace, progress, and prosperity for all.
