Jammu and Kashmir: Man murdered allegedly over land dispute in Rajouri, 5 detained

Jammu: At least five people have been detained in a murder case of a man allegedly murdered over land dispute in Thannamandi belt of Rajouri district in Jammu and Kashmir.

Police sources said the wife of the deceased has alleged that her husband Shafiq Ahmed of Sora Pul, Thanamandi has allegedly been murdered by some villagers over some land dispute.

Police however, taking cognisance of the matter, registered a case and detained five persons in this connection.

Police confirmed the incident and detention of five persons into the case stating that the matter is being investigated.
