Srinagar/UNI: A grande was lobbed on a Central Reserve Police Force bunker in south Kashmir’s Anantnag district on Monday, a spokesperson said.

This was the second attack in the region in the last 24 hours.

The grenade missed the target and exploded without wounding anyone.

The spokesman said the explosive was lobbed towards CRPF's 90 battalion at Bijbehara.

“No injury was reported in the blast,” he said.

Soon after the incident, the area was cordoned off and operation was underway to trace the militants involved in the attack.

On Sunday, two policemen were injured in a grenade attack in south Kashmir’s Pulwama district.
