Jammu and Kashmir: Cop, daughter injured in Srinagar attack
Srinagar: A policeman and his daughter were injured in a militant attack in Srinagar on Tuesday, police said.
The attack took place at Anchar Soura area of Srinagar.
"Terrorist fired upon one policeman Saifullah Qadri S/o Mohd Syed Qadri, R/o Malik Saab, in Soura (Anchar) area. He is critically injured. His daughter also got injured," a police tweet said.
The injured were shifted to SKIMS hospital for treatment.
Soon after the incident, the area was cordoned off to nab the attackers.
