Jammu and Kashmir: Absconding former Jaish terrorist nabbed by Kishtwar Police after 20 yrs

Jammu/UNI: Police on Sunday claimed to have arrested one former terrorist of Jaish-e-Mohammad outfit who was absconding for the last two decades in Kishtwar district of Jammu and Kashmir.

Police said that in continuation to strengthen action against absconders, Kishtwar Police in yet another measure success have apprehended another absconder, (Ex-terrorist) who was evading arrest from the last 20 years.

They said that on a specific information a special police team of Police Station Marwah was constituted and raided the suspected locations and arrested him.

Arrested person was identified as Bashir Ahmed alias Jaffar Khan of Nowgam Marwah Kishtwar, wanted in different cases.

Thereafter the absconder was produced before the Court in Kishtwar and was remanded to judicial custody.
