Jaishankar hands over Modi's letter to Sharif
Islamabad, Mar 4(IBNS) Foreign secretary S Jaishankar has delivered a letter from Prime Minister Narendra Modi to his Pakistan counterpart Nawaz Sharif.
Jaishankar, who flew-in from Dhaka had also delivered a letter written by Modito Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina on Tuesday.
Jishankar is on a "SAARC yatra" designed to strengthen India's ties with neighbours.
Last month Modi had telephoned Sharif and talked with him about Jaishankar's visit.
