Jailed militants clash with guards in Bihar's Beur Jail

Patna, Oct 14 (The Bihar Post/IBNS): A group of terrorists lodged in tthe high-security Beur Central Jail in Patna clashed with the security forces on Friday over checking of food.

Reports quoting police sources said the terrorists clashed with the police while the latter were checking the food being served to the terrorists.


There are also unconfirmed reports of the militants assaulting the cops.

The jail administration has announced theyt will initiate tough actions against the terrorists if they did not mend ways, as per media reports.

Around 10 dreaded terrorists are lodged in the Beur jail. All were allegedly involved in Bodh Gaya and Patna’s Gandhi maidan serial blasts.

Keeping the incident in view, the jail administration has further tightened security around the special cell where the terrorists have been kept.
