J Jayalalithaa continues to improve, says medical bulletin

Chennai, Oct 3 (IBNS): Health of Tamil Nadu Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa 'continues to improve', officials said.

As per the latest medical bulletin released by  Apollo Hospital, the AIADMK supremo had even obtained 'expert opinion' from Dr Richard Beale.

Beale is a critical critical care specialist who has been flown to India from the UK.

He examined the CM and 'evaluated' her various clinical reports.

"Puratchi Thalaivi Amma will be in hospital for a few more days - Apollo Hospital," the AIADMK tweeted.

Throughout her hospitalisation, the AIADMK has shot down reports that the Chief Minister, a former movie star and one of the most popular and powerful politicians in the country, is seriously unwell.

The AIADMK  has said she has been treated for fever and dehydration.
