Ivanka Trump arrives in Hyderabad to attend GSE

Hyderabad, Nov 28 (IBNS) : US President Donald Trump’s daughter, Ivanka, arrived in Hyderabad on Tuesday to attend the Global Entrepreneurship Summit, 2017, reports said.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate the three-day event, the theme of which is ‘Women First, Prosperity for All.’

Ivanka, who came to the country with around 350 officials, will address the summit jointly with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

According to reports, Ivanka is leading a delegation of senior White House officials and entrepreneurs.

The  summit will be held at the Hyderabad International Convention Centre and Hyderabad International Trade Expositions.

More than 1,200 young entrepreneurs, a majority of whom are women, from 127 countries will attend the summit

he summit will be attended by a huge number of entrepreneurs, mostly women. The theme for the summit in 2017 is 'Women First, Prosperity for All' as PM Modi tweeted.

Ivanka, who is undertaking her first solo foreign visit, was asked by Modi to attend the summit when the Indian Prime Minister visited the US this year.

The US President's daughter is expected to address a session also on Wednesday.

On the occasion of Ivanka's India visit, Hyderabad has been virtually shut down with deployment of huge security personnel.

Modi will also be busy in inaugurating a metro project in the city on Tuesday along with attending the summit with Ivanka.
