Intelligence agencies warn of possible attacks across 4 states' airports

New Delhi, Oct 6 (IBNS): Indian intelligence agencies on Thursday warned of a possible terror attack at airports in four states along with Delhi.

According to reports, 22 airports in the four cities have been sent warnings.

Security measures have been heightened, reports said quoting authorities.

Jammu and Kashmir, Punjab, Rajasthan and Gujarat have been put under high security.

Last week, the Indian Army had conducted surgical strikes across the LoC to destroy several terrorist launch pads inflicting "significant casualties" in what is being seen as a retaliation to repeated terror attacks, including the one at Uri in which 19 Indian soldiers were killed.
