India's image has been enhanced globally: Modi tells in Doha

Doha, June 5 (IBNS) Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday addressed a community programme in Doha where he said India's image has been enhanced globally.

Indian community in Qatar gathered at the venue to meet the PM.

Targeting the Indian community, Modi said: "You are are never disconnected from India."

Speaking on Indiam, the PM said: "India's image has been enhanced globally. There is tremendous enthusiasm towards India across the world."

"The change in India has not happened due to Narendra Modi. It is due to the 125 crore people of India," he added.
He said India's growth rate is high.

"Global agencies are in agreement that if there is a fastest growing economy, it is India. Our growth rate is high," Modi said.

"India has been growing despite the fact that the monsoon has not been very good for the last two years...The world economy too is not doing so well at this moment. Yet, despite this India is growing," the PM, who is currently visiting the country, elaborated.

Modi said his government is committed to eliminate corruption from the nation.
