Indian forest official turns out to be multicrorepati

Umaria, MP, Mar 30 (UNI) Undeclared property worth approximately Rs 2.5 crore has come to light thus far during simultaneous searches at the quarters, private residence and other premises of a deputy forest conservator posted in Bandhavgarh National Park, Lokayukta sources said. 

The action, which followed a complaint that Satish Kumar Shrivastav possessed assets disproportionate to his known sources of income, commenced in the wee hours on Friday and were underway when reports last came in.

The accused was found to own a couple of luxurious dwellings and a retail outlet besides bank deposits of approximately Rs 1 crore, a locker, three four-wheelers and a two-wheeler.
