Indian embassy in Ukraine advises all stranded nationals to leave Kyiv 'urgently' today
New Delhi/IBNS: The Indian embassy in Ukraine has issued a fresh advisory asking all its nationals including the students stuck in the war-torn country to leave Kyiv immediately.
The embassy has also advised the stranded people to avail trains to leave Kyiv, the capital city of Ukraine, which is attacked by Russia.

A tweet by the embassy reads, "Advisory to Indians in Kyiv. All Indian nationals including students are advised to leave Kyiv urgently today. Preferably by available trains or through any other means available."

Voicing deep concern over the deteriorating situation in war-torn Ukraine, India at the UN General Assembly reiterated its call for an immediate end to the violence and hostilities and also welcomed the holding of talks between Moscow and Kyiv.
India's Permanent Representative to the UN, TS Tirumurti, addressing the emergency special session on Ukraine at the UNGA on Monday, said India "firmly believes that there is no other choice but to return to the path of diplomacy" and added that this was advocated strongly by Modi in his recent telephonic talk with the Russian President Vladimir Putin and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
He also highlighted the "urgent and pressing humanitarian situation developing in Ukraine" and said India is providing urgent relief supplies including medicines which will be delivered soon.
