Indian Commerce & Industry Minister meets UK's Secretary of State for Business, Innovation and Skills

New Delhi, Jul 9 (IBNS): Commerce and Industry Minister, Nirmala Sitharaman, held a bilateral meeting with Sajid Javid, Secretary of State for Business, Innovation and Skills, UK, in New Delhi on Saturday.
During the meeting, the leaders discussed issues of mutual interest. Both sides expressed hope to take proactive steps to deepen their ties and engagement in the ear future. 
 
Several issues related to bilateral trade and investment were discussed.
 
Union Commerce Minister said, "we are happy to engage with UK to talk about trade in goods & services & investments." 
 
She said post Brexit, FTA with UK will be a fresh exercise and work on FTA with EU will continue with a re-calibrated approach.
