Amid much enthusiasm and excitement, people lined up in front of voting booths to case their franchise in the last phase of the Lok Sabha polls on Saturday.

In this seventh phase of voting, voters will decide the fates of 908 candidates spread across 57 Lok Sabha constituencies in seven states and a Union Territory.

10.06 crore electorates are eligible to case their votes in this phase.

Bollywood actor Kangana Ranaut (Mandi), Union Minister Anurag Thakur (Hamirpur), actor Ravi Kishan (Gorakhpur), SAD's Harsimrat Kaur Badal (Bathinda), RJD's Misa Bharti (Pataliputra), Mala Roy of TMC (South Kolkata) and TMC's Abhishek Banerjee (Diamond Harbour) are some of the key candidates who are contesting the seventh phase.

PM Narendra Modi urges people to participate in voting

Modi posted on X: "Today is the final phase of the 2024 Lok Sabha elections. As 57 seats across 8 states and UTs go to the polls, calling upon the voters to turnout in large numbers and vote. I hope young and women voters exercise their franchise in record numbers. Together, let’s make our democracy more vibrant and participative."
