India stands by France in fight against terrorism, extremism: Narendra Modi tells Emmanuel Macron

New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday spoke with French President Emmanuel Macron and assured India will stand by the nation in the fight against terrorism and extremism.

The two leaders discussed on the issue of challenges and opportunities presented by the post-COVID world.

He said the partnership between India and France is a force for good in the world.

"Spoke with my friend @EmmanuelMacron on the challenges and opportunities presented by the post-COVID world. India stands by France in its fight against terrorism & extremism. The India-France partnership is a force for good in the world, including in the Indo-Pacific," Modi tweeted.
