India Power Week to be Switched by Gujarat

Kolkata, June 28 (IBNS): Government of Gujarat, under the Gujarat Urja Vikas Nigam Limited, will host an electrical expo SWITCH.

SWITCH is a part of  Prime Minister Narendra Modi's Make In India initiative.

The event will be held at the Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International Expo Centre in Vadodara, from Oct 6 to Oct 10.

The expo will have a presence of over 8,500 key buyers and over 1,00,000 visitors. Federation of Gujarat Industries is the organizing and implementation Partner for the event.

SWITCH will offer a platform for the industry players from West Bengal to showcase their products and explore business opportunities with globally reputed companies.

Nitin Mankand, VP Federation of Gujarat Industries said: "SWITCH will offer a unique platform for companies from West Bengal to meet, network and explore business opportunities in the power and electrical sector. It is designed to be a definitive electrics market place and will provide the widest range of switch gears, cables, conductors and fiber optic wires, transmission line technologies, control and automation, transformers, among many other products. This exhibition will also have specific pavilions for students and institutes as well as safety."
