According to reports, the over speeding high-end car lost its control and hit an autorickshaw and few motorcycles at Hussainialam.

The SUV also ran over at least eight pedestrians before escaping the scene.

Police later seized the Mercedes from a garage.

An investigation has been initiated into the accident while the owner-driver of the vehicle is absconding.
