Hyderabad police arrests 85-year old for allegedly raping minors

Hyderabad, Nov 23 (IBNS): An 85- year old man has been arrested in Hyderabad for allegedly raping four minor girls and attempting to rape two others, according to media reports on Thursday.

According to reports, the accused M Satyanarayana, over the past few months, used to lure his victims with chocolates.

CNN News18 quoted Rachakonda police commissioner Mahesh Bhagwat as saying, "Our 'She Teams' are creating awareness programs in schools and educating students, especially girls, about good and bad touch. The arrest took place when the incident came to light and our team immediately acted on it."

Police have registered six separate cases under the Indian Penal Code provisions, media reported.
