Hirakhand Express: NIA to probe train accident at Odisha-Andhra border
New Delhi, Jan 23 (IBNS): National Investigating Agency (NIA), on Monday, has started investigation into the Hirakhand Express derailment near Kuneru in Vizianagaram in which 41 people were killed, according to media reports.
The train accident occurred late on Saturday night at the Odisha-Andhra Pradesh border.
NIA officials has reached Kuneru to investigate into the possible cause of the accident.
The officials will also try to ascertain if any terrorist group was behind the accident, local media said.
