Helicopter en route Kedarnath crashes after takeoff in Uttarakhand, casualties feared

A helicopter carrying pilgrims from Phata to Kedarnath crashed shortly after its takeoff in Uttarakhand Tuesday, media reports said.

Many are feared to be dead.

As per initial reports, six people including two pilots were onboard.

Police and State Disaster Response Team have rushed to the spot for rescue operations.
