Heat waves kill over 200 people in Telangana, AP
Hyderabad, May 24 (IBNS): With temperatures scorching high in most parts of India, the death toll due to heat waves in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh has crossed 200, reports said on Sunday.
According to reports, 128 people lost their lives in Telangana, while 80 deaths were reported from the neighbouring state.
West Bengal also reported about four deaths due to heat waves.
The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) also predicted heat wave like situation in Odisha as well.
