Hafiz Saeed arrest: India wants Pakistan to be more sincere in its efforts to curb terrorism
The government said that Pakistan has been carried out by the Pakistani government earlier too, media reported.
Saeed has been placed under house arrest at Jamia Qadsia Chauburji in Lahore, sources told Geo News.
According to media reports, four others, who have been identified as Abdullah Ubaid, Zafar Iqbal, Abdur Rehman Abid and Qazi Kashif Niaz, have also been taken into preventive custody.
Saeed is said to be the 2008 Mumbai attack mastermind.
