Goa: Parrikar will lose trust vote, says Digvijaya Singh

New Delhi, Mar 16 (IBNS): Sounding confident, Congress General Secretary Digvijaya Singh predicted a defeat for Manohar Parrikar in the Goa floor test, reports said.

In an interview with NDTV, Singh said, "If you are seeing me smiling, that shows confidence. We will defeat the motion."

Singh also cleared the air about his role in the Congress party.

"There is no crisis as far as Goa and Manipur are concerned. The High Command had fully authorised the General Secretaries in charge to take decision and there was no interference," he said.

Following Congress' debacle in the recently concluded state polls, Singh came under fire for mismanagement.
