New Delhi, Oct 4 (IBNS): German Chancellor Angela Merkel arrived in New Delhi on Sunday.

"India calling. German Chancellor Angela Merkel arrives in New Delhi on a 2 day visit, received by MoS @jayantsinha," MEA spokesperson Vikas Swarup tweeted.

Merkel is visiting India from Oct 4 to 6 for the 3rd Indo-German Intergovernmental Consultations hosted by Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
