Gas tanker explodes on Delhi-Jaipur highway, 10 burnt alive

Jaipur, Dec 14 (IBNS): In a tragic incident, at least 10 people have been charred to death and 12 other have suffered serious burn injuries after a gas tanker caught fire and exploded on the Delhi-Jaipur highway near Beelpur village late on Saturday night, media reports said Sunday.
When the tanker exploded, seven other vehicles on the highway also caught fire.
 
Following the accident, there was a huge traffic jam on the national highway which was cleared on Sunday morning.
 
"Out of the ten killed, three have been identified as Dakshul (6), Radhamohan (40) and Vinod (37)," CNN-IBN reported quoting SP, Jaipur (Rural) Nitin Deep said.
 
The cause of the fire is still not clear.
