Four over ground workers of ULFA (I) nabbed in Arunachal Pradesh

Guwahati, Feb 18 (IBNS): The troops of Assam Rifles apprehended four over ground workers of the United Liberation Front of Asom (Independent) in Arunachal Pradesh’s Changlang district on Saturday, officials said on Sunday.

Based on intelligence input, the Assam Rifles troops launched a special operation at Malugaon area and nabbed the four along with one point22 pistol.

Defence PRO Colonel Chiranjeet Konwer said that, the four confessed that they have supplied weapons from Dimapur in Nagaland to Sadiya and Kakopathar in Assam and was also involved in anti-social activities.

Later, they were handed over to Margherita police station in Assam and an FIR was lodged.
