Former BJD MP Jayaram Pangi joins BJP

Bhubaneswar, May 9 (IBNS): Former BJD MP Jayaram Pangi joined the Bharatiya Janata Party here on Tuesday.

He joined the party in the presence of Union Petroleum Minister Dharmendra Pradhan.

Apart from Pangi, hundreds of his supporters also joined the BJP.

Pradhan tweeted: "Welcomed former BJD MP & Prominent Tribal leader Jayaram Pangi along with hundreds of his supporters to BJP at Bhubaneswar today."

Pangi was suspended from the BJD recently.
