External fuel tank of IAF aircraft gets dislodged, no damage reported
Kolkata/IBNS: The external fuel tank of an Indian Air Force (IAF) aircraft got dislodged and fell into an uninhabited area near KKD (Kalaikunda) Airbase in Bengal's West Midnapore while returning from a routine training mission on Monday.
There was, however, no loss of life or damage to property.
The drop tank is being brought to KKD in coordination with civil administration, a defence release here said.
The cause of the incident is being ascertained by a special team.
