EVMs 'fudged repeatedly', says Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal

New Delhi, Apr 1 (IBNS): Ahead of civic election in the national capital and by-elections in few other states, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal once again raised the EVM issue by saying that they were 'fudged repeatedly', on Saturday, media reports.

Following the complaint made by Congress a day back, Kejriwal moved to Election Commission over EVM issue.

Congress has alleged that faulty EVM machines were found during free trials of voting, ahead of elections in Madhya Pradesh.

Though EC has rejected Congress' allegations earlier, AAP demanded the return of ballot papers as they have lost faith in the credentials of voting machines.

"EVM tampering is possible. If there is no investigation, then how can we know the truth?" Delhi CM asked media on Saturday.

As only few days are left to go for elections in several states including Delhi, the allegations of tampering voting machines are brought back into the political field which was earlier made by Mayawati in recent times after losing Uttar pradesh assembly election 2017.

Former CM of UP, Akhilesh Yadav too wanted the allegations made by Mayawati to be investigated by BJP government in the state.

The civic elections of Delhi will take place in the month of April.
