Egypt Air hijack: Airline to send plane to rescue released passengers

Nicosia, Mar 29 (IBNS) In a recent development in the Egypt Air hijack case, the airline said that the concerned official are sending in a plane to rescue the released passengers.

A new tweet from the concerned airline reads, "Update: the concerned departments are working on issuing the landing authorization for an aircraft to depart from Cairo Airport to Larnaca."

Another tweet in Arabic said, "Gary to obtain the consent of landing a plane taking off from Cairo airport bound for Larnaca airport in the fastest time for the return of the passengers who were released."

Earlier it was reported that at least three passengers and four crew are still on the the plane, hijacked by a man to Cyprus on Tuesday.
