ED issues summons to Lalit Modi
According to reports, he has been given three weeks time to respond to the summons for questioning in connection with the money laundering case against him.
The BJP government at the Centre is hit by a controversy which involve the names of External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj and Rajasthan CM Vasundhara Raje for allegedly helping former IPL commissioner Lalit Modi's application for immigration to the UK in 2011.
Since the news came to surface, Oppositions are demanding the resignations of the two BJP bigwigs from their respective posts.
