Don't fool the people of India: Rahul to Modi

Kishanganj, Bihar, Apr 16 (IBNS): Taking a jibe at Narendra Modi, Congress Vice President Rahul Gandhi on Tuesday asked the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP)'s prime ministerial candidate to stop making fool ("ullu") of the people of India.
"Modiji,  Hindustan ko ullu banana bandh karo (stop fooling the people of India)," Rahul said while addressing a rally in Bihar.

He said Modi had provided a Rs. 10,000 crore loan to Tata Motors for its Nano car-making factory in Gujarat.

The Gandhi scion said the Tatas were charged at 0.1 percent interest, while the common man gets loan from banks at 12 per cent interest.

"For every Nano car, the Tatas are rolling out, the Gujarat government is providing Rs. 40,000 assistance," he said.

Reacting to Rahul's remark, BJP's Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi said the Congress has a history sheeter of making people "ullu" (fool).

"The Congress party made people 'ullu' (fool) and had been in power for so long. The Congress party has a  history sheeter in making people 'ullu'," Naqvi said.
