Dengue Malaria larvae found in Kolkata's top schools

Kolkata, Aug 12 (IBNS): When the official death toll, due to mosquito-borne disease Dengue, reached 14 and Dengue cases crossed 2000 in West Bengal, larvae of dengue causing mosquito- Aedes Aegypti- and Malaria causing mosquito- Anopheles- found in the compounds of South Point and Ballygunge Government School respectively on Friday, reports said.

A team of Kolkata Municipal Corporation, led by MIC (Health) Atin Ghosh, conducting campaign regularly at several locations in the city to found larvae of harmful mosquitoes.

However, the authorities of these schools have been directed to clear the compounds asap.
