Delhi Police sub-inspector's car runs over 3 women sweepers, all dead

New Delhi, May 12 (IBNS): In another shocking incident in the national capital, three women were killed on Tuesday morning after being hit by the car of a sub-inspector of Delhi Police at a toll plaza in South East Delhi, reports said.
The car ran over the women, who were sweepers, while they were engaged in cleaning the road at a toll plaza in the Badarpur area. All three are dead.
 
Following the incident, the sub-inspector was detained. 
 
According to reports, he himself made a call to the police to report the incident. 
 
CFSL team has been reportedly called in by police to examine the car.
