Delhi Police is looking at security lapse in Rohini Court firing: Rakesh Asthana

| @indiablooms | Sep 24, 2021, at 10:40 pm

New Delhi/UNI: Delhi Police Commissioner Rakesh Asthana on Friday said security lapses that led to firing at the Rohini Court Complex would be looked into.

He said two men dressed as lawyers opened fire at gangster Jitender Gogi inside the court. Police retaliated and killed those two assailants.

"We are taking stock of the situation. There is a security lapse, it will be looked into and we will take action," Asthana said after the incident.

He refused to comment further, adding that investigation is on.

Three gangsters, including under trial Gogi, were killed in a gunfight in a crowded local court here on Friday, police said.
